Wallpaper should be delivered straight to the property or site. We accept deliveries only when arranged with us in advance.

Preparation

Floors and furnishings are protected. Walls are filled, smoothed and sealed where needed, then lined before hanging, so the paper sits on a flat, stable surface. Plastering repairs are carried out first where a wall needs them.

Application

Each drop is hung with precision, following the manufacturer’s guidance and using an adhesive suited to the material. Patterns are carefully aligned, seams are crisp, and delicate wallpapers such as silks and fabrics are handled with great care. The result is a clean, consistent finish.

Every quote follows a survey of the rooms. The main factors are:

The wallpaper. Silks, grasscloth, fabrics, murals and hand-painted panels each need the right method for the material.

Wall condition and preparation. Filling, sealing and lining, and any plastering repairs needed first.

All wallpaper and fabrics should be delivered directly to your property or site. Bellefair does not accept deliveries unless this has been arranged with us in advance.

Will you advise on quantities?

Yes. During our survey, we take measurements and advise on the quantities needed before you order, which helps avoid waste.

How should my home be prepared for installation?

For the smoothest process, we recommend the room is clear and ready for our decorators: large furniture moved where possible, decorative works finished beforehand, and no other trades present during installation. We’ll also advise on any wall preparation needed so the surface is ready for lining and hanging.

Will there be much disruption?

We work with care and respect for your home. Floors and furnishings are fully protected, we keep the area tidy throughout, and our aim is always to minimise disruption.

Can you coordinate with my designer or builder?

Yes. We frequently work alongside interior designers, architects, and contractors. We’re happy to liaise directly with your team to ensure surfaces are prepared and everything is ready for installation.

Do you provide a guarantee?

Yes. Every Bellefair installation is backed by our 2-year workmanship guarantee, excluding issues caused by leaks, damp, structural movement, or other underlying defects beyond our control. If an issue arises from our work, we will return and resolve it without additional cost.
