We ask that smaller personal items are cleared where possible, but we can help move larger furniture as needed and make sure everything is properly protected before work begins.

Our quotes are detailed and fixed. We visit the property, agree the scope with you, and send a written quote covering the work, materials, timings, and cost. If something changes once work has started, for example if we find damage during preparation, we stop, explain it, and agree any extra cost with you before continuing.

Yes. We can carry out repairs where needed before decorating, including making good after leaks, plastering, plasterboard repairs, tape and jointing, and other surface preparation needed before the final finish.

Yes. We provide a 2-year workmanship guarantee on completed works, excluding issues caused by leaks, damp, structural movement, or other underlying defects beyond our control.

We work with the brands most often chosen by Central London designers and homeowners. For paint, that usually means Farrow & Ball, Little Greene, Paint & Paper Library, Benjamin Moore, and Edward Bulmer. For limewash, we are specialist Bauwerk Colour applicators. For wallpaper, we install Cole & Son, de Gournay, Phillip Jeffries, Pierre Frey, House of Hackney, and others. If you have a specific brand or finish in mind, tell us and we will confirm it at quote stage.

Yes. Much of our work is in Georgian, Victorian, and heritage homes across Chelsea, Kensington, Belgravia, Knightsbridge, Mayfair, Notting Hill, St John's Wood, and Westminster, including listed properties. We know what listed work requires: the right paint systems, careful preparation around period features, and working within any conservation requirements attached to the property.

You are introduced to the decorators working on your project before work starts. Each has 15 to 20+ years of experience, wears Bellefair clothing on site, and treats the home with the care you would expect. The same team stays with the project from start to finish. A senior team member visits regularly to check progress and answer any questions.

Before any painting starts, we cover floors, furniture, and fittings. We use dust extraction during preparation so the rest of the home stays liveable. Paths between work areas are kept clear, and the property is tidied at the end of each working day. On longer projects, we agree access and timings with you so the disruption fits around your routine.
